Firma cehă Ocún din anul 1988 dedicată producției de bocanci și scaune de alpinism, atunci fiind încă sub marca Rock Pillars. În anul 1994 a deschis fabrica sa proprie, și a început o producție de serie, patru ani mai târziu a început să producă sub marca Ocún alte echipamente de alpinism, cum ar fi bouldermats, buclele expres etc. Familiaritatea companiei a depășit rapid granița cehă, astfel creând alte produse. Astăzi, compania are aproximativ 130 de angajați care dezvoltă și produc echipamente de alpinism, unificate sub brandul Ocún din 2015. Compania are producția în Republica Cehă și își testează în mod constant produsele în colaborare cu un număr de alpiniști de testare.
